This is a true story. This is no fake. These are facts.
Thirty years ago, newsreaders of the world
stumbled over the word “unconstitutional,”
as they reported the August 1991 coup,
which led hundreds of thousands of Moscow residents
to take to the streets in defence of Perestroika.
Where are you now? Why do you today
condone the massacre of Bucha,
for which—as you would have it—
the residents of Bucha are themselves to blame,
for not welcoming Russian armoured vehicles?
… Today, newsreaders of the world,
with professional indignation in their voices,
stumble over the word “Bucha.”
Where have you been Russia, these thirty years?
Where are you now?

Це було. Це не фейк. Це факт.
Тридцять років тому диктори світу
ламали язики на слові «антиконституційний»,
повідомляючи світові про серпневий заколот 1991 року,
коли сотні тисяч москвичів
вийшли на вулицю захищати Перестройку.
Де ви зараз? Чому ви сьогодні
благословили масакру в Бучі,
в якій, за вашою версією, винні самі мешканці Бучі,
які не вітали російські бронетранспортери.
…Сьогодні диктори світу
з професійним обуренням в голосі
ламають язики на слові Буча…
Куди ти йшла, Росіє, ці тридцять років?
Куди прийшла?
